To buy land? Surely not ... that is incredibly cheap ... isn't it? That is about $55 AUD ...

In Sydney land is between $3K and $4K per square metre ... which converts to about E2K per sq mt.

Ah ... think I have solved it ...
E31250 meaning 31 thousand euros per sm ... that is better ... well not better ... but at least I now understand!!

So that land is $55K Australian dollars per sm ... yikes ... that is about the size of two my computer monitors!!

It is the price for the appartments per square meter, Julie!
I saw a 40 sq meter appartment for sale, which means one small sitting room with kitchen facilities in the corner, a small bedroom and a small bathroom/toilet for Euro 1.250.000.
It looked old and needed a desparate facelift!

I love the little harbour of Fontvieille. Goodness is that what it costs to buy here! Well I believe it. Expensive for land that was sea a few years ago!
