The global crisis...

...has compelled many factories to close and many, while waiting to find a new job, are temporarily reinventing themselves. I do not know if it is the case of this young man, but it may likely not be the future he had in mind.

Spring is...

...Nature awakening with an explosion of colours, the first warming sunbeams, winter stiffness slowly disappearing, sunday-walks through the hills and along the lakes, picnics on freshly cut grass with freshly baked bread, busy birds flying around searching for places to make their nests, small restaurants and cafés putting out tables and chairs, people greeting each other again....

If only those who just blindly handle power could sit back, take a deep breath and enjoy all this...

A brief encounter

We walked along the lake front, side by side. Just a few meters. No sign of fear, not even when I got closer and got on my knees to take this photograph. Not even a good photograph. But is was an unusual moment. An unusual atmosphere, in total silence. Peaceful. Then I got up and we walked a few other meters together, after which each of us went his own way. A brief encounter but important, even if I do not know why. Time will tell. Perhaps.
