Waiting for people too. Such an unusual scene and photo. It looks like a painting.

It must be the position of the sun but I agree with Dina, those tables and chairs do not look real.

I love this one. Tell us what entertainment we all missed?

Thank you for your comments, Dina and Brattcat. You are right in saying that the scene of the photo looks somewhat unreal. I have been excercising with my new camera: Canon G10, trying out all the manual possibilities. I took the photo from my hotelroom balcony. The tables and chairs on that nearly white pavement were totally sundrenched at 14.00 hours and the surface of the top of the tables is of light-blue glass. I could have taken the photo in b&w which would probably have had a better effect, but then the I would have had to leave out the red of the sides of the stage, which I liked.

The level of entertainment was very pleasing, Virginia! The new Supremes (who invited me on stage and dedicated the song "You make me feel like a natural women" to me. (My wife said: "I cannot even leave you alone for five minutes!"), Debbie Beaujo (an excellent singer) and a Greek folk dancing group, one of which invited me to join a group of people in the "Sirtaki"! I'll post his photo tomorrow. By the way, I joined the others in this heart-puming folk-dance!

PS I have a feeling I would have been right up there with them. I attend our Greek Food Festival here and I'm a threat to think I can really join in on the Greek dancing. I think wine might be involved in that decision ! HA

Doesn't look anything like the old wooden chairs you see so often see in Greece.

I was going to make some sort of intellectual comment about the photo's graphic elements, then I read the story of the performers, Diederick! Now, that's all I can picture on that stage!

This is great news! I love to think of you up their dancing and also being sung to by the girls. Way to go, D!
