...when Art and Kitsch come together

This vase with flowers and yellow-colour wooden shutters were painted in the 1990ies on the darker shutters of an 18th century window-frame.

To delete, just click on the little garbage can next to the date and hour of the comment.
What, you don't need a new watch?! ;)

Glad you explained the photo. What an idea!

just got a comment from you so I took a look on your space. I see you have gathered here parts of every day's life, objects, moments of present or of the past.
Thank you for the visit and words. I'll keep an eye on your blog.

Thank you so much for stopping by Ocala DP. I try to get to as many blogs as I can in a day, but it's getting harder all the time with so many.

But your blog is superb. I love this photo. Looking at it originally, I thought somewhat was out of whack...

Then, you explained, and it all became clear. I think it's pretty creative, though...and looks good.

By the way, we're all getting a bunch of spam these days...Any comment that includes advertising I reject out of hand.

Have a great week!

Beautiful blog and very amusing window thing!

I know you got it fixed now, but sometimes I have to open the comments several times before the garbage can appears. I don't know why . . . it's one of the mysteries of software, I guess!

Diederick Wijmans said...

Thank you all of you for your kind comm.ents!!

Thank you, Jacob. I agree with you, I do not want any ads in my blog either! I receive quite a number of e-mails also, with requests to link my blog to theirs (watches, real estate, holiday organizations, etc.)

Yes, Tapirgal, you are right: sometimes these garbage cans appear and then disappear again

How fabulous. Art and Kitsch as you say. A sort of Trompe l'Oeil.

Thanks for info on the anonymous comment - have now removed it.

Apologies for not visiting for a while - bronchitis now on the mend. Now to visit backwards...
