Thank you, Suzanne!! I know you have a weak spot in your heart for the Dolomites!!
Thank you, Sonia!!
Thank you, Tr3nta!! I am really honoured that you have chosen my blog among the five you have chosen for the BFF award! Tomorrow I will post the award in question according to the rules. Grazie mille!
D., The only thing that keeps me from being INSANELY jealous is that I know you appreciate all of the beauty around your home and photograph it so perfectly to share with us each day. Today's photograph is just lovely and the composition, as always , exactly right.
That's wonderful photo, Blognote. Your compositional calculation always amazes me. The monochrome rendition is nice.
Always wonder about those tall, pine like trees I've seen a lot in movies set in the Mediteranian. What are those? What do you call them? Are they a kind of pine?
Thank you for your as always highly appreciated comments, Eki!!These are Cypressus trees. As the ground in front of the dining room of the hotel on the right hand side of the photo is not spacious, the gardeners have given them this shape, also to make sure that the view on the wonderful island "Isola Bella" is not blocked for the people who dine there.
Thank you, Babooshka!!
That is a big compliment for my photography, Marcel!! Thanks.
