I grew up in Chicago, in the big city, but near the shore of Lake Michigan and that is what saved my soul.
The first word that came to my mind when I saw this photo was "perfection." It is perfect in terms of composition, texture, light and shadow and interest - in every way!

It is like that, Dina. The Lake calms the mind. Some find the lake area sad and static and prefer the sea side. I like both very much but as I grow older I prefer the quietness of the countryside and the lake side.
