Yes Dina, they were taking our temperature with the sort of gun you can see in the picture. Then there was a second person behind this lady, also totally covered, who took random samples from people's throat with a small stick!!

Paranoi abounds, indeed. We have thermal scanners at major airports. Apparently, as you walk past, they can pick up whether you have a fever.

Coming through Heathrow security the other day I was asked how I felt. The way she scrutinized me, I knew she wasn't simply being sociable. This is a great documentary photograph.
