Spring is arriving quickly to replace the beautifyul snow scenes shown in your photos. I ahve been to the Italian Lakes region only once, and it was in May, just ast eh azealas were blooming. I'm sure the folks there are looking forward to spring.

Yes, here in the lake area, the very small green is starting on the trees, just slightly. Also the rose-plants on my terrace are showing their first signs that Spring is arriving. Yes, Dave, the azalea-moment in this area is something spectacular. I will post photos of that moment in April.
A beautiful sight, indeed. Anything like Spring would be welcome here as it is still threatening snow or snowing and it is still cold or getting colder.
This photo is clearly in much nicer weather than we have been having.

It's so great to discover your blog from Arona and surrounding on the beautiful Lago Maggiore. Photos are so superb. "Spring light" is a fave and I am looking forward to see spring light here in Marburg soon.

So you have azaleas in Arona too? Well we will have to have an "azalea show" for the viewers. Birmingham is covered in the spring!!
