You must have a very special sunlight. It's romanticize from Italian sun mixed up from mountains and lake. You have very good eyesight.

Thank you all for your kind comments. Yes, the historical centre of Arona (small) is composed of these little alleys (with the colourful buildings, which surround the square where I live and which "flow" right down to the lake front.

This is a nice warm photo for this time of year. I hope it means that you are moving into spring (though your winter photos have been wonderful too).
Love this shot and it's taught me something. thankyou. I always try and avoid a shadow but in fact the shadow makes this shot - sun one side of the diagonal, and shadow the other side. Beautiful. That's what I love about this CDP community. We learn all the time from others.
