Beautiful flowers against the grey sky..
Well that's just stunning. I'm thinking yours might be the Star Magnolia. Our big magnolia's here with the grand shiny leaves and heavenly blossoms don't lose their leaves and the flowers come in the summer. I can't wait for another photo when these open!

We just returned from a lovely trip to Italy and noticed the magnolia just beginning to open.
Flowers of light stand up to the coming darkness and storm.
I can feel the eerie calm before the storm. The gray background works beautifully with the delicate pink buds.
