"LACE"! I always wondered how to describe those wondrous Gothic elements! Thanks for a new way of speaking and seeing.

Love your photographs of the cathedral in Milan. I remember when I first saw - I came up out of the train station passage and there it was. I was flabbergasted. Stunning. And you have reminded me so beautifully.

Wonderful! I remember Milan as a quite ugly city, but you make me wanna go there again, thanks!

Thank you so much for your great Milan series, Diederick.

They look like craggy cliffs from this point of view. Fantastic! I also love your photo yesterday! That was fabulous!

Thank you for your kind comments. The central part of Milan is really beautiful and now that traffic is limited in the inner circles, that part of the city is so much liveable again! The local government is now working hard on the face-lift of the city for the international Expo in 2015.

Delicate lace it is. Never thought of it that way before but it is an excellent description.

So fairy tale-ish. It looks like the ice queen's castle.
