Awwwwwwww, amazing pics of one of my fave city in Piemonte! :) I moved from Italy to Scotland a few months ago and I am a bit homesick. I spend hours today looking at your pics! Will be back soon. Grazie! :)

I have never been to Arona but it looks lovely. I must visit, not far from where I live (Turin).

j'aime bien la photo et surtout la tonalité des couleurs.
I like the photo and especially the tone colors.

That seems typical for me for northern Italy cities. Verona looks a bit like that. The pavement is great.

Alleys like this are stunning. Alleys are rare in my village so it's a pleasure to see yours.

I just adore these little alley like streets. I could walk them all (if I had the time and money).

Beautiful. And deserted. Must've been early in the morning. Cheers!

Charming place, especially with the lovely mural. Makes me feel like another Italian holiday.

I think it would be lovely if you make it look like a painting :)

A splendid alleyway, so clean and well maintained. Perfect place to stroll with camera.

This must be just around the corner from that modern sculpture you showed us a month or so ago. Do people live and work there? The town center looks so clean and lovely it seems impossible!

Thank you, all of you!!
No, Petrea, this photo was taken in Arona, while the other with the modern sculpture was taken in Orta San Giulio at about 30km away. The towns around the lake are very similar to each other, because often built in the same period.

I guess I'll have to visit them all, then Diederick. They're quite beautiful!
