Thank you, Evlahos!! It is really worthwile to roam around in this area here, which is about one hour's drive from where I live.
Thank you, Baruch!!
Thank you too, magiceye!!
And I would be pleased to take you with me, Tr3nta!! This season has unfortunately not very with mushrooms. Many poisonous ones but not many porcino mushrooms, which are the only ones I prefer to eat. My son's future father in law goes regularly and manages to find at least 30 to 40 each time, but they are not big this year.
I was going to ask about the poisonous ones. Be careful Blognote! Pocinos, yummmm. Maybe the new father in law will take you along and show you his secret hiding spots.
If you found Porcinis, send me a picture... I miss so much finding them under the oak trees of my childhood!!! Your "mushroom Find' looks very inviting..
I wish I could come with you, I was not bad to find them when I was a child, but where I live know, I don't know the good places...Have a nice evening.
What a beautiful place. My dad took me mushroom hunting when I was a kid, but it was for Morels, always after a rain in hte spring. My mom would fry them up and they were so good!

I eagerly await my package from Arona!
That's what he did, Virginia, and he seems to have built in radar to trace those wonderful and tasty treasures!
Beautiful. Good luck and make sure you only eat the non-poisonous ones.
What a wonderful landscape to go hunting mushrooms. I love the green, this scene would be a great setting for a childrens story

That is such a beautiful photo. I love the different hues of green and the beautiful sky.
Looks like the place where I would just want to go hunting for some fresh air and a bit of sunlight. Delightful view.
