Portrait of a friend
Selim is a friend. We grew up in different countries and in a different age group but had an upbringing with parents who coined the same priorities on the scale of values in us and that, together with the same views we share, has created a strong and solid basis of our friendship for the years to come. See you soon, Selim!

is it a tribute? He seem to be a good friend.
Hi,Thanks for visiting our blog.
I pleased that I found here.
Today I visit your travels of the last week. Wow, looks like you are having a lovely trip. Enjoy it!
The mist on the mountains is especially moving.
Nice tribute for a friend. I think we do not tell our friends how much they mean to us like we should.
Great blog, and what an honor to be featured!
You know the feeling is mutual...
-Selim
spreads warmth of friendship....reminders of old and new friends alike.
The portraits that you have posted, each of the other, appear to me as yin and yang.
Deiderick usually posts realistic images that he does not post-process. Selim usually posts processed images that are open to interpretation.
However, in the portraits Selim has Deiderick on a realistic stormy background whereas Deiderick has Selim on a processed stormy background.
Wonderfully complementary work ...
Beautiful portrait of friendship.
Thanks, Sherry!!
Thank you, Julie!! Your words are as usual... spot on!
Thank you too, Ann!!
You have a lovely way of describing how people originating from different cultures can meet on fundamental values and ways of being that create strong bonds. It makes me want to meet the two of you.
Oh...that is so kind of you to say so, Nathalie!!
