The view. Now the terrace. What more could anyone ask for? I am dying with envy.

I wish I had a terrace like that.

I am afraid I am rather like the pigeon. ' Let me see what Blognote's terrace looks like. Oh I like those gorgeous flowering plants and that table for dining outside. Great terrace, gorgeous view. I think I'll roost right here all winter!"

Nice dimensions, Diederick.I do like the mustard shutters. Now all I need is a slightly chilled Sauvignon-blanc, a chaise-lounge, Glenn Gould playing just about any Bach Prelude/Fugue and Schlink's Flights of Love. See what you can do, there's a love ...

Thank you, Ilse!! I really enjoy this terrace from Spring till Autumn.

Thanks for visiting, Boise Diva!!

Thank you, Virginia!! I'll bear that in mind!

Thank you for your visit, USelaine!!

Thank you for your kind comments, Laurie!!

Thank you, Sherry!!

That is a very good suggestion, Julie!! The chilled white wine is often there before dinner and I often put my headphone on (in order not to disturb the neighbours) sit back, listen and relax. My wife often organizes wonderful dinners for our friends.Be our guest, Julie!

Thank you, Sharon!!

did you photoshop this or are the colours really like that. Its such a lovely spot to relax (I prefer red wine).

Thank you visiting, Ann!!
The colours are like that. The buildings in the historical centres, especially in the smaller towns have very strong colours.
In the photo of my terrace you cannot see the other side, where part of my walls are deep red!
As far as the wine is concerned, I can assure you that a chilled lightly sparkling white wine, just as an aperitive, is very refreshing.
