No, Olivier, I was just on the edge of a path where the ski-slopes begin. I am thinking of bringing my skis home from where I have them presently and do some skiing here in the area. It is so beautiful here!!

What a fabulous landscape. Everywhere you turn, there is a spectacular photograph! Is Arona and the surrounding area this wonderful every winter???

As far as this winter is concerned, it is te first since some years where we have his much snow in Arona. Winters in the past have been severe, with -5° Celsius but not with the snow we had this time. There is always snow on the Mottarone mountain above Stresa but not as beautifu and powdery like ths time, Virginia!
