This is so peaceful and beautiful. A frozen wonderland, indeed.

Happy New Year!

How do trees survive being frozen alive like this!

It looks so absolutely silent and still. Lovely image, Diederick.

Thanks for visiting, Marc en... GNJ!!

Thank you Laurie!!
I have not forgotten your request to show my new space where I work, now that my son has moved into his new apartment. It is nearly ready.
Happy New Year to you too!!

Thank you, Julie!! The trees on the left are peach trees which have been there for more than 40 years in this beautiful garden.
At then end of this garden start the rolling hills with vineyards.
All trees are used to extreme temperature excursions.

Thank you for your comments, Jarart!!

Thank you too, JustM!!

Grazie, Chuck, e Felice Anno anche a te!!

Thanks, Ken!!

Thank you for your kind comment, Slim!!

Than you for yours too, Babooshka!!

Grazie mille, Virgnia!!

So pretty... but it looks COLD, almost as cold as it is here in Canada!

How wonderful to wake up to that and then to be able to photograph it so beautifully.

Oh, I'm envious. There is a unique beauty in the pristine snowfall. (I miss it from my New Hampshire days.) You've caught the quietness.

Happy New Year to you and your family, Blognote.
