Great photos of magical scenes, although I think the Italian lakes are even mor magical in Spring and Summer.
Oh yes, that fabaulous tree. Now it's encased in ice and snow and looks like something from fairyland. This is wonderful. Maybe we see a closeup??

Don't mind me , I just slipped back by to have another look at this photo up close. I have never noticed how beautiful the ironwork is around the lake before. The snow makes everything so pristine and fragile.

It is freezing hard now, and the snow still does not met, although most of it has gone now, at least here on the lake. It still is there in the hill area around Arona.
I feel I am walking in a dreamlike state through wonderland.
I'm impressed over how you can make snow and winter look good. I most often fail brutally when it comes to that.

This is very peaceful. I also like to re-visit the same scenes in the different seasons, different times of day, different weathers.
