Nice to read from you again and to enjoy your photos. These pictures remind me of a trip I made in Austria, Switzerland and Italy a long long time ago (35years!). We spent some days in Cortina d'Ampezzo, I was a child but my memories stay so good.
The world is an amazingly varied place, is it not? What you have pictured here is such a tonic for people who see city streets and city buildings, day in and day out.
Sounds like you have a wonderful place to explore!
The similarities between this area and the area around Ouray Colorado (1 hour South of Delta) are striking. Take a look at my shots around 8/2 and you will see what I mean.
What beauty,, I am amazed at life on this planet, Daily photo is the ticket, [isn't it?], to the wide range of what we have here on this earth to create and to enjoy, and your photos are always appreciated as finest examples of beautiful places.
I think I smell the 'aroma' of Arona everyday! Fresh, and clean...somedays floral.
wow- youve been posting quite a bit of amazing images from the Alps - reminds me of the Tour de France - the only reason I watch that sporting event is to see the sights!
Thank you for your kind words, Sherry!! Those mountains are really incredible. In Arona we get some of that mountain air when the wind blows from the right direction.
