Although still working on my son's appartment (we nearly finished the basic demolishing works) my wife and I decided to escaped to "wine-paradise" again for a few days, where we did little else than baking in the sun on a sun-bed in a swimming pool with a glass of cool white wine in our hands. I only took a few photos there of which this one. It is such a relaxing area!

Now we all know where the friendly clouds go! (looking down on beautiful countryside, and vineyards).
Another superb shot! Sounds like a nice time for a break..!
That should be an oil painting...breathtaking.
Wow! That is just beautiful.
Thanks for sharing it!
looks like a painting.
love the clouds in the sky and the green.
What a gorgeous site. You certainly deserve this delightful site and cool glass of wine. We certainly missed your wonderful photographs. You have not let us down in the least.
Thank you, Sherry!!
Thank you too for your comments, Abu Dhabi/Uae!!
My pleasure, D!!
My son said that he wants to frame some of my photos to hang in his new appartment when it will be ready! This makes me a proud photographer (apart from an already proud father).
Thanks for visiting Alaya!!
Thank you for your kind comments, Virginia!!
I will still not yet post on a regular basis, due to works and also some forthcoming holidays, but I will do my best!!
Indeed it is. The view is breathtaking! Wonderful.
It was an escape for "Louis" to see this beautiful scene! "Louis" thanks you for sharing it!
I think we ALL would like to hang some of your framed photographs, I know I would.
Thank you, Louis!!
Thank you, Virginia. I really appreciate your comments!
It certainly looks relaxing! I can see why you visited. :)

Thanks for visiting, Halcyon!!
Thank you for your kind words, Eki Qushay Akhwan!!
Thanks, JM, and enjoy your weekend in wonderful Lisbon!!
Thanks, Ken!!
Je vous remercie beaucoup, Omami!!
Such a peaceful scene. So green! My first time here, but now I have you bookmarked.
Perfect spot to wind down with a glass of wine (or several).
That's what life is all about!
As much as I love the green and the terrain, for me this image is made by the cloud shadow which adds such moodiness. The sky itself is a great way to frame the countryside - even though there appears to be a band of pollution on the horizon!
Another really good image Diederich - as is the image in my mind of you and yours relaxing with a chilled glass of white wine. Your son sounds most appreciative of your efforts on his behalf. Nice to hear ...
Thanks for yor kind comments,Jill, Ann and Fredrik!!
You are right, Julie. The polluted band you see in the picture is the area of Milan, where the air is rarely clean, unless swept by a strong and long lasting breeze. This does unfortunately not happen often.
WOW! It actually brought an audible reaction from my lips, this photo did. What a fantastic view.
I live in wine country, too, just not quite as photogenic as your own. Still, I enjoy capturing bits of my world on my camera.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful scene with the world. And thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope to see you there again sometime. I've added your blog to my Bloglines and will be back to visit daily. You have a lovely eye for photographs. I look forward to visiting your world via photos in the future.
Thank you very much for your kind words, Becky!!
What a gorgeous view!
Relaxing, beautiful and well balanced. If you tell me where it is, I am likely to disappear there for a few days also. Tokaj is a nice region, but these are major hills!
Thank you, Sonia!!
Thank you too, Isadora!!
This countryside is in the inland of the city of Voghera (Province of Pavia). The hillside of this area is rather limited but extraordinary beautiful.
Astonishing. Beautiful place to visit and what a view.

What a panorama! So glad you and "Mrs. Blognote" came up for air.
Beautiful sky photo. Love those puffy clouds. Looks like you could just jump on them.
It looks relaxing. Hmmmmmmm. I'd love to be in such a paradise right now.
Espléndido y relajante paisaje.
Thank you all, newly visiting friends, for your kind comments!
Awesome photo! The view is spectacular.
Enjoy your mini-holiday.
That's a stunning view. Sure looks like a painting.
Thanks Ming!!
Thank you too, Steffe!!
I want to be there. It does inspire one to pick up a paint brush.
Long distance views are my favorite!
What a beautiful view!
Thank you all for your comments, Identity Crisis, Bill and Tammy!!
