i chanced upon your blog and i love it! your son is lucky to have a very hands on father. my husband and i are going through a messy, year-long home renovation...and would love to have someone like you! i am so going to put you on my favourites. your photography is beautiful, poetic. i am a beginner and will be looking to you for inspiration...:)
That is very kind of you, Jen Laceda! I really appreciate your kind words but I am sure that your photographic eye will catch the right moments appropriately.
We have nearly finished the demolishing works in my son's appartment. Tomorrow will be the last day. Then, in September abd October, when all main renovation works have been done by the professionals, we will do all the paint work. Although the work is harder than I expected, I have a lot of fun doing this. All the best with your "home-works"!
The blue water and the yellow house are very striking. THe pretty flowers at the window are the icing on the cake. What a gorgeous area you found. How delightful!

Those were extremely beautiful days with not a cloud in the sky. No humidity at all, just a small breeze.
I really like those primary colors, they make this photo just pop right off the screen. And it's so hot in my town today that I'd love to crawl right into the picture and take a dip in their pool!
What do you have to pay for a pretty place like that there? Maybe I should move to Italia! :)

We were just so lucky to have such beautiful weather during those days. The air was crisp and consequently the light was so intense. Notwithstanding the high temperatures it seemed like being high up in the mountains.
Just to answer Angela's question. That is not a vulcano on the background. It is the highest of the hills in the area, covered with trees and also with vineyards.
