Further rain is foreseen during the forthcoming days in this part of Italy, while in the centre and south temperatures have rises as far as till 39° Celsius. Still asleep

As you might have seen, I am married to an Italian and we return there on a fairly regular basis. Where is Arona? My husband's family is in Rimini but I lived for a decade in Torino, where I met my husband.

It is just where Lake Maggiore turns into the river Ticino. Its location is magnificent.
