No sunshine? No tourists!

Usually, on friday or saturday evenings people take a stroll along the lake before going to dinner, or sit down enjoying the view, when the weather is nice...

This picture reminds me of those photos we buy in expensive galleries...

Sometimes it seems like only photographers enjoy these ominous skies. Beautiful!

Thanks Dina, it probably is true...!

You know, I think I would be happy to sit there even without the sunshine - your photo is quite serene.

Sometimes bad weather is more memorable than good weather. And with bad weather, you enjoy the piazza all to yourself.

Thank you, Rose! I have been away for a few days, where I had no possibility for access. A few relaxing days reading, some walking in the rain and a good glass of wine in front of the open fire! And then to think that it is nearly summer! Tomorrow I will post again.

Thank you, Knoxville Girl! You are right: even if the clouds are stormy, symmetry gives (me) serenity.

Thank you, Dusty Lens! That's what it's all about in a touristic area like mine. Beautiful, especially during the week, when I have Arona all to myself!

Doesn't look too bad though? I'd say this is weather with some character! ;)

Thanks Per!

The lack of good weather is fortunate sometimes for the photographer. Superb compostion and light, and obviously had to be a b&w. Could sit and look at it all day.

Thank you, babooshka!!

its amazing how the water affects our moods and desires - nice photo. Arona sounds like a place in Shakespeares time =)
